SAZMAN is a project that promotes bike culture, in any shape or form. Through film screenings, art and experiential workshops, upcycling, group bike rides and bike repair workshops, we create feminist communities in various cities in Greece, starting from Rhodes and Athens. What connects us is our love for bikes – and the environment.

SAZMAN is inspired by the feminist makerspace movement, a movement encouraging women, queers, trans intersex and other marginalised communities to acquire technical knowledge on various fields, such as wood work, sewing, smithery, hacking and mechanics and create their own DIY platforms, learning from each other and sharing their knowledge with their communities.

If you want to be part of our community, or if you would like to offer workshops for another field of DIY-making, write us an email, come to our workshops, let's meet up and create feminist groups that make things together!
